Why travelling is important
Why travelling is important
Why travelling is important. Well this may seem unusual, or you might just be thinking, why is travel important. How is it possible travelling is good for your health. This is something you may not have thought about, but travelling can be beneficial to good health and increase your longevity.
For me travelling is about being half way around the world, with your life in a backpack. Not knowing where you’re going or where you’re going to sleep, but knowing it’s all gonna work out in the end. A lot of people think travelling is just about going on a vacation and escaping their busy life. In reality there’s more to travelling than just that.
Personally I like to travel, though for a while I was quite afraid of flying, but I kinda gotten over that. So far I’ve been around Europe, Greece, Australia and China.
Traveling get you out of Your normal routine.
- When you’re at home, you follow a particular routine. Some are useful routine for productivity, others are just habits. Now when you get out of “your routine”, you’re breaking that cycle. It helps you to learn what you’re doing wrong and what you need to be doing.
Getting outside of it helps you to observe it. This encourage self growth. It’s all about growth because it pops you out of Your comfort zone, make you deal with new situations and new environments you don’t see back home.
Why traveling is important..It’s fun
Travelling is fun. Who wouldn’t want to go around the world and experience the unimaginable. Think of it as your own way of uncovering previously unknown things to you. You get to experience different cultures, learn a new language or two and meet people with different stories. Look at like , human nature wanting to venture into the unknown That’s just what travel does.
develope skills you didn’t know you had.
You see this is the great thing about travelling, It gives you the opportunity to try to learn new things. Whilst you’re in the process of learning and doing new thing, you actually discover skills you didn’t think you had.
Since you’ve never done it before, you automatically think, you’d be terrible at it, but in fact turn outs that your pretty decent at it. This will give a great deal of confidence boost. When your able to problem solve your way through them, you realise that, you no longer need to rely on things you thought you needed to rely on. When you return home you have less fear and more confidence to do anything you want to do. Giving you great independence.
Traveling allow us to really experience others way of life.
By this I mean culture. We learn how people think, work, live and have fun. This is important for humanity. When we interact with others, it just gives us a whole different perspective. The world could actually become a better place, because we will have a better understanding of how different culture works.
The point to this is we become more open-minded and have a broader perspective, so when it’s that time to come back home, we’re less judgmental, more accepting and understanding of the people around us, showing more love rather than hate, allowing us to live a happier life.
Improvement of problem solving.
When you’re at home facing challenges, there’s a certain level of familiarity. There are people around us, resources around us, basically things that we’re already comfortable with. When we go abroad and we face challenges of a similar magnitude or even bigger,we’re put in situation where we don’t have that familiarity. We don’t have the resources, there’s a language barrier, there’s missed travel connections, there’s thing that out us way outside our comfort zone.
Being able to work through those and take that experience and translate it home, it makes us more clear minded when we’re facing challenges at home, so we can take on more and bigger challenges as we go.
Traveling can make you smarter (not literally)
Traveling kinda forces you to use your brain in ways that you haven’t, like for example the process of travelling, going to the airport, getting on the plane, reading about the place you’re doing to, its history etc. Smart is kinda an objective term..what it means to be smart, you have knowledge but you are also more receptive to new ideas because you’re going to new places.
It gives you perspective of your own life
When your out of Your bubble, you can look in to your own life, from a new point of view. Maybe not just improve upon your routine, but going a little deeper. Maybe you can improve upon your entire world view, because you’re seeing it form a completely different angle.
Why I travel and why should you
- I travel to explore this beautiful world
- I travel to make friends and to meet new interesting people.
- To experience new culture
- To taste new food
- Being able to wake up every morning with no set schedule and knowing I can do exactly what I want to do on the day. If I want to chill, I chill, if I want to move I move and so on…
Why traveling is good for you
When you travel aboard, it enriches your life more than it would in a guide-book because you experience and lived it yourself. Travelling provides you with opportunities you didn’t have before and when you see something with your own eyes you never forget It.
It will open your eyes, expand your horizon and teaches you about the world. Only you can create this void that’s probably missing. With that said, fill your void.
Life is too short to see only 1 country.
Overall travelling is all about experiences and the stories. These stories and experience will stay with you throughout your life so get, stories that you can live to tell your own kids, grandkids, friends and family and hopefully they’d be inspired to travel too, so get out their and unlock the world of travel.
